VIYALO, or Wind Power, is Alina Kravchuk's sculptural interpretation of the unfolding fan. Radiating carved lines translate the movement of air into the weight and texture of natural stone. The contrast between a delicate symbol and a resilient material gives the collection its emotional character.
Coffee tables, wall panels and a bar cabinet carry the motif into different scales of the interior. The cabinet combines contrasting marbles, while its carved fronts reveal a different rhythm as light moves across them. First presented at Milan Design Week 2022, VIYALO explores the space between functional furniture and an art object.
